Shyp, a startup famous for it’s door-to-door packaging and shipping service, is dedicated to providing dead-simple, efficient alternatives to traditional delivery services. They approached Junior looking for a website redesign that would communicate these values to customers using their new rate-comparison web app. While designs were being finalized, our dev team worked closely with their engineers to build a framework for the marketing site – including an interactive estimator tool – which integrates seamlessly with their web app. I used Contentful’s CMS-as-a-service along with isomorphic rendering techniques to build a modular template system which allows non-technical users to create, modify and rearrange all content on the site. Once this preliminary work was done, we were able to breeze through the implementation phase using composable react components and colocated scss and javascript.
