Actipedia

Actipedia
is an open-access, user-generated database of creative activism. A collaboration between the Yes Men and the Center for Artistic Activism, the site is a place to read about, comment upon, and share experiences and examples of how activists and artists are using creative tactics and strategies to challenge power and offer visions of a better society.

I took over development of the Drupal site to refresh the site’s design and make the site more useful by adding new navigational features. First, we overhauled the navigation system to allow visitors to easily find projects by Issue, Medium, or Region. Then we built a personalized Gallery feature whereby registered users can create and share lists of projects relevant to their own studies or practice. Finally, we added essential details like social media links and SEO enhancements.
