PocktVR
Virtual Reality promises to be the most influential web technology in a decade. But for the most part, it’s still a read-only experience. pocktVR lets anyone create and share interactive, 360-degree experiences that can be viewed with VR headsets like Oculus Rift and Google Cardboard. Users of the service can upload photo- and videospheres and annotate them with text, audio, and hyperlinks to tell an interactive visual story.
Working with a small team at Junior, I was involved in the creation of PocktVR from ideation to execution. The initial ideas came out of a weeklong sprint and were developed into an embryonic but fully-functional web application over several months of iterative design and development.
